Each session is designed to encourage mindful movement, blending Yoga & Somatic Movement Education, giving you the opportunity to renew, reconnect & rediscover what it feels like to be comfortable in your body.
Most classes begin with breath awareness and floor based somatic movements. Students are encouraged to experience asana (postures) from a place of ‘ease’, using modifications and props when required. Relaxation and meditative practices complete the session.
Less is more here, we take it slow to help build awareness and clarity about how you are moving.
Think ways of taking it off the mat & stacking more functional, ‘nutritious movement’ & Yoga into your daily life.
Learning to reeducate our brain & muscles to work together is a lot of fun and a little different to most Yoga classes out there.
