|This extended session is an opportunity to discover or revisit some of the principles of Hanna Somatic movement. There will be a particular emphasis on releasing the muscles of the back.
No prior experience is necessary.
We will transition from movement to stillness with Restorative Yoga, so think bolsters, blankets, lots of support. Variations of ‘Savasana’, (aka relaxation pose), or as I like to think of it, your cake/dessert. This style of Yoga helps us begin to approach meditative state of mind, using the body & nervous system, and triggers of relaxation to get ourselves there.
I really hope you can join me, take time for yourself, unplug, feel relaxed and revitalised ready for your weekend.
It’s my intention to offer a series of Friday evening sessions each month until December, so if you are unable to make it this time, let me know if this is something that interests you.
